Play DVD on GOM Player Without Region Code

GOM Player is an excellent and powerful video player which can cover all video & audio formats, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, play online video and live video stream and automatically upgrade, support latest codecs always. Some users feedback that they
try to watch DVD or IFO file with GOM Media Player but it never starts playing, and never
leaves the main screen. If this happens, it is likely being caused by your DVD drive’s region code settings. We provides 2 methods for you.

Method 1: Change your DVD drive’s region code

Step 1. Go to the windows Control Panel (“Start” Menu ->”Control Panel”)

Step 2. Click on “Device Manager”

Step 3. Click the arrow next to “DVD/CD-ROM drives” to display a list of installed drives.

Step 4. Right-click on your DVD drive and go to “Properties”

Step 5. Click on the “DVD Region” tab

Step 6. Select the Country that corresponds to the region of the DVD you want to watch.

Step 7. Click the [OK] button

Step 8. Try to play your DVD with GOM Media Player again

WARNING: There is a limit to the number of times you can change your region code!
